A dog is always more than just a pet. When you’ve spent a significant amount of your life with a dog, they become family, and there’s no doubt that dogs also think of us as family. Dogs are very loyal to their owners and anyone who has ever been good to them, and they are often more than ready to give love and compassion to whoever needs them.
But sadly, more often than not we hear stories about how some dogs inevitably go missing. Everyone can agree that one of the hardest moments of a person’s life could be those in which that person has to accept that his or her dog is gone.
This is what the Goldston family had to go through when their Boxer dog, Boozer, went missing from their home in Tennessee. When Boozer went missing, the family was devastated, and what was even more saddening was that they were moving from Tennessee, so they didn’t have time to conduct a thorough search through the near neighbourhoods.
Luckily for Boozer, however, he was found by a family who fell in love with him and decided to keep him. Boozer stayed with his new family for 9 years, before they sadly had to move to Colorado, in a no-dog space. That’s when the family gave Boozer to a local animal shelter.
Scanning Boozer’s microchip, the shelter workers found that Boozer was registered to Lloyd Goldston from Alabama, and they immediately contacted the Goldstons, who were shocked and equally glad that their beloved missing dog was found, safe and healthy.
The video shows the amazing story and the heartwarming reunion between the Goldstons and Boozer. Isn’t it a lovely coincidence? It sure made my day.
Don’t forget to make someone’s day by sharing this with your family and friends.
