It can’t get any cuter than this; it’s very magical to watch these Cannonball jellies. The Monterey Bay Aquarium has uploaded this amazing video on their YouTube channel. These Cannonball jellies are making big splashes in the water; it’s amazing to see those beautiful creatures that close. It’s a one minute of unlimited cuteness, and the music is making it more and more magical. Everything about them is very beautiful; especially the way they swim, they are fast swimmers. It’s awesome to watch those creatures in such close range. This video simply made my day, I can’t stop watching this. Watching any sea creature is magical.
Surprisingly, the Cannonball jellyfish is also known as a Cabbage head Jellyfish, the diameter of this head is about 25 cm. They live in warm water only with an average of 23 degrees. Cannonball jellyfish feed mostly on zooplankton. Cannonballs are very fast swimmers, they are found along the eastern seaboard to Brazil. Cannonballs jellyfish can reproduce both sexually and asexually. In some countries, the cannonballs end up on dining tables, especially in japan, china and Thailand, because it’s a good source for calcium and proteins. Also in Georgia, only five boats are specialized to catch Cannonballs jellyfish. The cannonballs jellyfish’s arms are used in two things; they help in propelling the fish, and in foraging.
