It’s very heartwarming to see pure hearted people like those volunteers in ASPCA, doing their best to save dogs and give them second chances at life. The ASPCA went to rescue dogs from a puppy mill, but some of the dogs needed to be trained well before the got adopted. These problems appeared with the puppies due to the hard circumstances they live in, when they were living the puppy mill. One of them was Coconut the rescued dog, when they first met her, she was scared and starving, also shaking, not ready enough to interact with animals, each time they tried to get close to her she became scared. As the volunteers said, Coconut was one of the most severe cases that they had ever seen, but this case motivated them more, they decided not to give up on Coconut. They immediately started the treatment from the first week she arrived at ASPCA. In about 6 weeks, she has completely changed, she finally trusted them, and she behaved well. Once the dog felt that it is loved, you will find that its behavior has completely changed. Coconut finally is a whole new dog, and now she is finally adopted by retired couple, she brought happiness and love into their home.
Coconut proved that every dog has the right to be saved and have its forever home. She proved that despite all what she faced from pain, she still has the right to be treated with love and kindness, she can still be saved, she can behave well, she only needs to trust, she needs to know that there are some people in this world that still care for them. Every animal has the potential to love and to be loved, and has the right to have a home!
