Angeline Dzadony, a 66 year-old-woman spent the last two years of her life dedicated to feed a stray dog near her home. She devoted these years to earn the dog’s trust, who she named, Cici. She kept feeding her and trying so hard to earn her trust to get closer to Cici. Angeline’s devotion to offer help and to save Cici’s life was outstanding.
Over the last two years all, Angeline, the Cleveland woman wanted was to approach Cici, who would only take the offered food and never allow Angeline to approach her.
Angeline spotted Cici for the first time in 2011 and she assumed she belonged to some family in the neighborhood. But then she noticed that Cici was outside every single day. That’t when Angeline realized that Cici was abandoned by her previous owners when they moved away and she was there all alone.
“It would break my heart,” Angeline told the Cleveland Plains Dealer. “She just looked so alone, sitting there like a little soldier. I think she was waiting for her owners to come back.”
For the next couple of years, Angeline devoted a large part of her life to bring Cici food and talk to her and she said it was the hardest thing that she has ever done.
It was two years later on A Christmas Eve when she thought she had enough. She went to Cici and said “that’s enough and you are coming home with me” Angeline demanded “We are going home. This is your Christmas present.” Cici agreed. It’s as if she knew it was time to get off the streets.
Cici now has a family and I think this Christmas present was for both Angeline and Cici. Share this story with your friends if you find it heartwarming!
