It’s unbelievable; you have to think about it before you judge. It all started when Kevin Rose the founder of Digg and partner at Google Ventures, heard weird sounds at 1:00 am, the sounds was from his dog, it seems that he was in pain, as Kevin said, that he heard his dog Toaster crying in pain. When he checked, he found a raccoon attacking his dog, he ran towards the dog and did a thing that so many people are getting different opinions about it, he threw the raccoon from the stairs for two times, the first time to stop the raccoon from biting the dog, and the second time to let it go away. Some people said that obviously it’s the first thing they will do if they found someone hurting their dog, but some other viewers said that it’s an act of abuse, and if he did it once to save his dog, he shouldn’t repeat it again. So what is your opinion? Do you agree that it’s an act of abuse or not? And what will you do if you were in the same situation?
Raccoons can be pets; it’s legal in some countries. But it’s a fact that raccoons can attack dogs, and also people. But some other times, raccoons act kindly, some people raise them as pets, not a lonely pet, they raise it with a dog. Raccoons live for about ten to fifteen years, but it’s illegal to have raccoons as a pet in some countries and areas. If you are having one or about to have one, just try to choose an early-aged one, so it will be easy for you to teach him some stuff and to get him sociable and less prone to bite. Especially the biting thing; especially when you have another pet.
