A dog is always more than just a pet. When you’ve spent a significant amount of your life with a dog, they become family, and there’s no doubt that dogs also think of us as family. Dogs are very loyal to their owners and anyone who has ever been good to them, and they are often more than ready to give love and compassion to whoever needs them.
This is why owning a dog is much more than just owning a pet. There are countless stories that show us how dogs are responsible for saving many lives and helping so many people get through the toughest times, just by being there. In fact, because of their amazing ability to read emotions, dogs are often said to have a “sixth sense” when it comes to the moods and emotions of the people around them.
When this bull mastiff dog sensed what his owner was about to do, he did the most amazing thing.
It all started when Byron Taylor, a 23 year old, was going through a tough time in his life, which pushed him to contemplate suicide. Taylor owned a Rare Welsh Bull Mastiff dog named Geo, and when Geo saw his owner crafting a noose, he knew he had to act quickly.
According to Taylor, he went downstairs to write a suicide note, and when he came up, he couldn’t believe what he saw.He saw his bull mastiff dog Geo angrier than ever, and holding on to the noose tightly. He tried to take the noose from Geo the bull mastiff dog, but he backed off when his usually calm and well mannered dog started growling at him. Geo didn’t let go of the noose until he tore it apart completely.
Because of Geo’s amazing actions, Taylor is now alive and well, and he owes it all to his loyal dog.
