It is exactly this kind of heartwarming rescue that leaves us all amazed and keeps us waiting for the next heroic story to share it and learn from it. The care and devotion with which these people save those poor helpless animals that are in trouble is truly a remarkable display of humanity in a time where humanity is rare. If I could, I would find each and every one of these heroic people and give them a big, warm hug! It’s the least they deserve for their kind, selfless actions.
The story started when, on a normal work day in England, some construction workers had a task to do near an area close to London’s Canary Wharf. While going on with their jobs, a few ground holes were left open. The workers were startled when they heard a faint sound of cries coming from one of the open holes! Imagine how heartbreaking it must have sounded. The workers didn’t waste any time, they rushed to try and locate the animal, without even knowing what they should expect to find, or whether any of them could be in danger.
They devoted themselves to finding this animal, and when they did, they discovered that it’s a tiny fox cub! The little poor fox was starving, cold, and covered with many layers of mud from head to toe. Our heroic workers thankfully managed to get him out of the hole, and when they did, they didn’t waste any time before taking the poor cub to a hospital. The fox needed immediate medical care and most of all needed to be fed. The workers finally got the cub to the South Essex Wildlife Hospital, where our new fox friend was bathed, fed, and taken care of. As you can see in the picture, he’s quite the handsome cub! They named him Muddsey, I couldn’t think of a cuter name. We are thankful for those heroic workers for saving a precious life.
