When it comes to the Christmas trees, you should include all the family; and your canine friend is family too, right?
Of course, all pet parents like to have special gifts for their puppies. So, how about creating a one of a kind keepsake for your friend?
Get ready to learn how to make a perfect masterpiece in a few ultimately easy steps. Puppies around the world are going to be included in the Christmas festivities with their paws printed into a baked ornament! This is how you can make your Christmas tree more personal!
Maia MacCann, the content director in LittleThings, and Smokey, teamed up her pug with AvoDermNatural pet food to show you how easy it is to make these lovely ornaments. Watch the full tutorial video below.
You will need; two cups of flour, one cup of salt, one cup of lukewarm water, and of course, one or more awesome pets.
Mix both flour and salt in a bowl, and then slowly add the water. Use more flour if it is too wet, more water if it gets too dry until getting a doughy consistency which can be kneaded into a ball.
Roll out the dough on a cookie sheet; use some positive reinforcement to push your pet’s paw to print into the dough. Cut around the cute print and do not forget to make a hole for the ribbon.
Two hours in a 200 degree oven, are perfect for this cookie to pop. Once cooled, decorate this ornament fitting your pets’ personality. What a cute idea to share with my friends!
Please share this with all pet parents you know, and tell us in a comment below how it went, if you decided to make it. Let this be your awesome Christmas project!
