It’s the worst thing ever to see, it’s mean and not humane at all, and it certainly leaves us very hopeless to know that there are some people who think this is funny. Sarah Palin posted this photo of her six year old son named Trig, standing on his black Labrador dog to reach the sink. Sarah Palin posted it under a caption of “Happy New Year! May 2015 see every stumbling block turned into a stepping stone on the path forward. Trig just reminded me. He, determined to help wash dishes with an oblivious mama not acknowledging his signs for “up!” found me and a lazy dog blocking his way. He made his stepping stone.”
The photo went viral; any human would notice from the first sight that it’s obviously categorized under Animal cruelty. How it could be a funny thing? If she had a small kid lying there, would she accept it to let his bigger brother go and stand on him to reach the sink? I think that every single “good parent” are teaching their kids how to respect animals; it’s one of their responsibilities towards their kids! Simply, Sara Palin posted it as a funny picture, expecting that people should be laughing about it!
The next shocking thing was how she reacted to this viral aggression towards her from the different animal rights organizations; Sara Palin simply commented “Chill, At least Trig didn’t eat the dog”. Really? Is it the suitable reply to all of this? It’s very provocative, are you ok with stepping on the dog but not eating it?
It’s not a new thing for her to make a provocative act towards animals; Sara Palin was a proponent and had participated for Alaska’s aerial hunting program which simply allows hunting wolves and bears. Now we are not surprised at all, she is passing her thoughts and attitude to her son, instead of teaching him how to respect his pet, and not to standing on him with his feet as a “stepping stone
