Life in shelters is not that good life that any dog deserves. Around 2.7 million adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized each year in the United States simply because too many people give up on their pets, and too few people adopt from shelters. Because there is a limited space in shelters, staff members sometimes need to make very hard decisions to euthanize animals that haven’t been adopted. Some people thinks that saving dogs won’t change a thing, but the fact is that saving one dog will not change the world, but for the dog, the whole world will change forever.

Living in shelters is not an amazing thing, it’s not that life that every dog wants in the world, from the first day a dog enters the shelter, he waits for his owner to come and take him away from that cruel place, this is what every dog feels.

This photo went viral all over the internet, Diggle the dog is one and a half year old;he was rescued and went to the shelter in Los Angeles. He was there for weeks, but this volunteer captured a photo of this dog, hiding under the blanket, sitting in a corner, waiting there for someone to adopt him.
