One of the things that encourage people to adopt is the way that the Ads campaign are made, some of them depend on very catchy ideas that helps people get curious to the idea of adoption. Imagine that you find a dog that is following you in the mall, telling you that he is really looking for you!
From that point, the “Looking for You” campaign was started in the East London’s Westfield Stratford mall, the Shaggy dog appeared and he started to follow the people who were there for shopping, and he is looking at them, looking for a home and for a loving owner. This outdoor campaign was designed by the Pet Adoption for Battersea; its goal was to encourage people on adoption and rescuing dogs.
But how does the Shaggy dog follow people? The volunteers handed the shoppers some leaflets, and surprisingly, there is a microchip that is secretly placed in that leaflets, that microchip helps the shaggy dog follow people on digital boards all over the mall, because they are triggered by that microchip. The idea is fascinating; I wonder who can resist this beautiful dog’s eyes.
Adopting a dog is a thing that might change your life, if everyone adopts a dog instead of buying one, we could save all dogs on earth. Around 2.7 million adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized each year in the United States simply because too many people give up on their pets, and too few people adopt from shelters. Because there is a limited space in shelters, staff members sometimes need to make very hard decisions to euthanize animals that haven’t been adopted. Some people thinks that saving dogs won’t change a thing, but the fact is that saving one dog will not change the world, but for the dog, the whole world will.
