Feeding your pup table scraps
Besides the fact that this only piles on extra unnecessary calories to your dogs’ diet, feeding them fatty table scraps, it is inducing pancreatitis. Humans consume many foods that are extremely high in sugars and fats for a pet; moreover, foods containing chocolate or garlic can be toxic to pets.
If it is hard for you to say no to your dog when begging at the table, offer it a healthy treat such as apple slices or baby carrots. It is also recommended to feed your dog its meal in another room during the family dinner. This will minimize the under-table handouts. Moreover, pet parents should be familiar with kinds of foods that are considered un-safe for dogs.
